Momentum welcomes two new clients to its education and youth services practice this month: NYC Skills Lab and Apex for Youth.
Funded by the GE Foundation and managed by the NYC Department of Education, NYC Skills Lab helps educators, youth employers and youth-serving professionals integrate 21st century skills development into their work with students to prepare them for college and career success. Momentum will build recognition and thought leadership for NYC Skills Lab among secondary and post-secondary education influencers, community and youth service organizations, and the business community.
Apex for Youth supports underserved Asian American youth in New York City through educational and mentorship programs. Apex volunteers guide and inspire youth to become confident young adults who are ready for college and give back to the community. Today, Apex serves over 1,300 children from 1st to 12th grade with nearly 11,000 hours of volunteer service annually. Momentum will support Apex fundraising campaigns and build awareness for the organization through a monthly e-newsletter.
Momentum’s education clients include Teaching Matters, Lavelle School for the Blind, Edmentum and American University of Antigua College of Medicine.
